Bharat Takhtani is reportedly in a relationship with entrepreneur Meghna Lakhani. Earlier, he set the internet abuzz by sharing a cozy picture with her. Esha has not commented on Bharat’s new relationship so far, but judging by her recent post, it’s evident that she continues to hold love and respect for the father of her daughters.

A week ago, Esha Deol and her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani were spotted together with Ahana Deol and a friend. Bharat later shared a photo from the outing, showing the group seated at a restaurant.

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani tied the knot on June 29, 2012, and announced their separation in February 2024, after 12 years of marriage. In a joint statement, the couple said, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children are and will continue to be of utmost importance to us. We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected during this time.”

In a recent interview with The Quint, Esha Deol shared that she always ensures the changing dynamics between husband and wife do not affect their children’s well-being. She also emphasized that parents should present themselves as a “unit” for the sake of their children.

Esha said, “For your kids, you have to be a unit. That unit can’t break. Maybe the other unit has broken but for your kids, be that one unit. I feel it is very difficult for many but if you try, I think, keep trying. Don’t give up on that.”

In an earlier interview with Mamaraazzi, Esha spoke about co-parenting her daughters with Bharat and said, “It’s just that in life, sometimes, due to certain things, roles change. And if it doesn’t work out in a certain equation of what two people were at one point, you must take it upon you, especially when you have children, the two mature individuals must take it upon them to work out in another dynamic but keep the unit together for the sake of the children. And that’s exactly what Bharat and I do.”

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani are parents to two daughters: Radhya, born in 2017, and Miraya, born in 2019.
