Esha Deol’s ex-husband Bharat Takhtani seems to be dating again. Speculation began after the businessman took to Instagram Stories to share a picture with Meghna Lakhani Talreja with the caption: “Welcome to my family,” followed with a red heart emoji. In the picture, the duo could be seen all smiles, looking at each other. Meghna, who herself is an entrepreneur, also shared a picture featuring Bharat, where the two could be seen posing with a smile. She captioned her post: “Our journey starts here”. These pictures soon went viral.
According to Meghna’s Instagram bio she is an entrepreneur and the founder of One Modern World–a business based in United Arab Emirates that provides premium sustainable products and packaging consulting services for organisations and companies. They provide eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic.
According to the company’s LinkedIn profile, One Modern World was founded in 2019 and provides environmental services. The company takes care of everything from reusable and sealed bottles for each guest room in the hotel to jugs for meeting rooms and single-use polyethylene free cups or food packaging.
Meanwhile, Meghna’s LinkedIn profile reveals she is a ‘serial entrepreneur with fifteen years of global experience in various industries.’ Apart from One Modern World, she is also the founder of startups MLT and Optas.app. While MLT focuses on positive environmental change, Optas.app focuses on sustainability app for consumers. The profile also claims that Meghna has an expertise in international business expansion and growth in new markets.
The couple had announced their separation last year with an official statement on their respective social media handles. Their statement read: “We have mutually & amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children are and will be of utmost importance to us. We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected throughout. Thank you, Esha Deol & Bharat Takhtani.”
Previously talking about her bond with her ex-husband after their separation, Esha Deol told Mamaraazzi, “I don’t like to think of myself as a single mother because I don’t behave like one nor do I let the other person behave that way with me. It’s just that in life, sometimes, due to certain things, roles change. And if it doesn’t work out in a certain equation of what two people were at one point, you must take it upon you, especially when you have children, the two mature individuals must take it upon them to work out in another dynamic but keep the unit together for the sake of the children. And that’s exactly what Bharat and I do.”
Esha Deol married Bharat in 2012. Five years later, in 2017, they welcomed their first daughter Radhya followed by Miraya in 2019. However, in February last year, the couple decided to part ways.
