In the latest vlog posted on her channel, Farah Khan and Dilip took a trip to actor Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s museum of a home, amid the ongoing investigation into a fraud case implicating the couple. Throughout the video, Farah remained shocked with the expanse of the place and the amount of artefacts, paintings and features the house possessed. However, before leaving for Shilpa’s place, Farah talked to Dilip and made sure he was on the same page with her regarding who was his favourite female actor in Bollywood.
Farah asked Dilip if he knew where they were going, and Dilip said, ‘Meri favourite heroine ke paas, Deepika Padukone (My favourite female actor, Deepika Padukone).’ Farah corrected him and asked the question again, to which Dilip replied, “Alia Bhatt.” Farah gave up and whispered something in his ear before asking the question again, and Dilip took Shilpa’s name. Farah remarked, “Ham jiske ghar jaate hai, wohi iski favourite hoti hai” (Whosoever’s house we visit, that person is Dilip’s favourite actor). After some confusion regarding what to make for Shilpa, the duo took off for her house.
The first few minutes were filled with Farah and Dilip just roaming around the house, unable to find the actor. They looked at the furniture and took turns to sit on it before being escorted to the other floor. There they met Shilpa, and Farah asked her, “Shilpa, yeh kya ghar hai?” (What is this house?), to which Shilpa replied, “Look who is talking; you have such a big house yourself. These lies which she spreads in each episode about her being so poor – it’s all rubbish.” Farah and Shilpa then sat down together to tell the fans that the relationship between the two has always been of friends, as they have never worked in films together, except for Shilpa’s cameo in Om Shanti Om.
Raj then walked out donning a beard and a turban. He said, “I have changed my look because I am working in a Punjabi film, and I have learnt from Shah Rukh Khan that you should never miss any chance of promoting yourself.” Raj pointed out to Farah that Shilpa must really love her, because she has never allowed anyone to shoot the inside of her house before. Farah corrected him and said, “It’s not because she loves me; it’s because of how much she loves you. She told me, ‘Raj’s movie is about to release; if you come to the house, we can promote it.’ I have never seen such a husband-loving wife in my life.”
While everything seemed copacetic in the Shetty-Kundra household, the actor recently revealed that she is closing down her restaurant Bastian. She joined forces with Aallia Hospitality in 2019 to form Bastian Hospitality Private Limited. The owners of the iconic Bandra location talked to NDTV and said, “As we take a short pause for renovations, we are deeply grateful for every moment we have shared with you. This is not goodbye – it is a fresh new beginning. We will be announcing something special very soon.”
