Deepika Padukone asks fans to guess the name of a yoga pose, Alia Bhatt gets it right

On International Yoga Day, many celebrities shared their interpretation of yoga. While a few displayed their favourite yoga poses, others wished their fans. Deepika Padukone shared a post late on Wednesday in which she was seen doing a yoga asana at her home, dressed in a black workout attire. The actor asked her fans if they know the name of the asana, and fellow actor Alia Bhatt got it absolutely right.

Deepika took to Instagram to post, “How many of you know what this asana is called? #worldyogaday.” Alia was prompt to reply as she wrote, “Puppy pose,” along with a nerd face emoji. Actor Karan Tacker wrote, “Child pose !!.” Deepika’s post got some funny replies too as RJ Abhinav posted, “Is it “Bed k neeche chappal phasi (slipper stuck under the bed)” aasan?” Actor Freddy Daruwala also wrote, “Looking for a lost earring under the cupboard pose!!” Well, a fan also called it, “Besharam Rang-Asna.”

Actor Gulshan Devaiah was happy to see this inside photo from Deepika’s home and posted a different reply as, “Nice wall paper.”

Meanwhile, a yoga teacher Indu Arora replied, “This is janu-vaksha asana aka knee to chest on ground pose. Really good for relaxing the spine. It is NOT puppy pose, downward dog, not apana not anything else. @deepikapadukone ❤️.”

In other news, Deepika was recently seen at Karan Deol’s reception party along with her actor husband Ranveer Singh. The couple was seen singing and dancing at the bash with the Deols. Many photos and videos of Deepika and Ranveer were shared online.

On the work front, Deepika was last seen with Pathaan along with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, which also stars Hrithik Roshan. It will hit theatres on January 25. Deepika also has Project K with Prabhas.
