Shah Rukh Khan’s fans once again made their love for their beloved actor evident after watching Gauri Shinde’s directorial, Dear Zindagi. Though the movie features Shah Rukh only in an extended guest role, the fans still gushed over his appearance on the silver screen.
“There is no one like Shah Rukh Khan. We felt like screaming in the theatre as he appeared on the screen. Like always he has done an amazing work in the movie,” exclaimed a gang of girls as they walked out from the theatre after watching the first show of the movie.

At PVR cinemas in Delhi, we talked to people who walked out of the theatre with a bright smile on their faces after watching the ‘feel-good’ movie, as the audience put it. From the screenplay to the performance of the entire star cast, there was nothing which disappointed them. It looked like Shah Rukh Khan’s life lessons to Kaira (Alia Bhatt) gave the young audience a future reference for their life problems. “Some advise which Shah Rukh gave to Alia were really nice,” said a joyous member of the audience.

On being asked whom they liked more between Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, people were split into two groups as both the actors gave powerful performances in the movie. Also, director of the movie, Gauri Shinde, came in for sharp praise as people appreciated her for giving the audience a feel-good movie after her debut, English Vinglish. Yashwasini Dayama (last seen in ‘Phobia’), who plays Alia’s best friend in Dear Zindagi and her potential love interest Kunal Kapoor too were appreciated for their performance in the movie.
Talking about the attendance for the first show of Dear Zindagi, it got average occupancy. If the positive word-of-mouth continues coming in, the film will definitely see a sharp improvement in terms of occupancy.
