Aishwarya Rai shone and shimmered in a gorgeous emerald green sheer Elie Saab evening gown when she walked the red carpet on Sunday (May 17) for the screening of ‘Carol’ at the 68th Film Festival.

However, more than her red carpet look, it was Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya that made headlines due to this adorable picture of the tiny tot admiring her beautiful mother before she walked the red carpet.

The beauty queen was absolutely stunning, as she owned the red carpet with elegance and style. Wearing her luscious tresses in delicate waves, Aishwarya wore a dark lipcolour and green eyeliner that accentuated her mesmerizing eyes.

For her first outing at Cannes this year, Aishwarya was bright and colourful in a floral Sabyasachi creation that she wore to the Variety and UN Women Panel discussion on Saturday (May 16).
