Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is busy shooting for his upcoming film Border 2. The film also stars Suniel Shetty’s son and actor Ahan Shetty. Recently the shoot for the film’s third schedule began at the National Defence Academy in Pune. Ahan Shetty shared a video on Instagram where Varun can be seen commenting on how the two of them took some time off to explore the city, only to find themselves lost.
Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, who are currently shooting for the highly anticipated war drama alongside Sunny Deol and Diljit Dosanjh, then decided to take the metro to find their way back.
In a video shared on Instagram by Ahan, Varun can be seen with him anda crew member inside a metro compartment. In the video, Varun is heard saying, “Guys, we are right now in Pune and we are pretty lost. So Ahan and I are getting on this metro and trying to get to our hotel. It’s been a crazy night. We’ll let you know if we get to our hotel soon.” Sharing the video, Ahan wrote, “1st sched done…. Maza aaya.”
The clip got a lot of reactions from fans and celebs too. While Suniel Shetty reacted with a red heart emoji, Arjun Kapoor tagged Border 2 co-producer Nidhi Dutta’s husband Binoy Gandhi and wrote, “Where is @binnoykgandhi ?” and Ahan replied by saying, “@arjunkapoor eating his gulab jamuns.”
Many fans from Pune dropped reactions like, “Omgggggg why I wasn’t traveling at that time ,” “Omg you guys came in pune…fan missed opportunity…” and more.

Border 2 is the sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster Border. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty and Varun Dhawan in lead roles.
It is helmed by Anurag Singh, who previously directed Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari in 2019, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. Border 2 is set to release on 23 January 2026.
