Actor couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, who welcomed their daughter Devi in November, have finally shared her first photo on social media. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Bipasha posted two photos of their daughter, and wrote, ‘Introducing Devi, my heart,’ in her Instagram stories.
“Hello world … I am Devi ❤️ 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿 #devibasusinghgrover,” read Bipasha’s caption, along with her daughter’s photos. Dia Mirza blessed Devi in the comments section, and wrote, “God bless you Devi. I love you! And can’t wait to hold you. ❤️🤗🦋” Vivan Bhathena called her “sunshine” and Kajal Aggarwal called her the “cutest little munchkin.”
Fans of the couple flooded the comments section with their love for Devi. One fan called her the “cutest baby ever,” and many others called her “adorable.”
Bipasha and Karan announced Devi’s birth in November with a social media post. They wrote, “Devi Basu Singh Grover. The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine.”
In an earlier chat with Hindustan Times, Bipasha had shared her memories of the day she found out about her pregnancy. “It was a very emotional day. I remember me and Karan ran to my mother’s house just the way we were, she was the first person I wanted to tell. Everyone was emotional. It was my mother’s dream that me and Karan have a baby. I always had faith we will, and it happened. I am more than grateful for this,” she said. Bipasha had previously shared that she did not take up any work because she “wanted to have a baby, then start working immediately again,” she said.
Bipasha and Karan got married in 2016.
