Baaghi 4 Movie Review, Rating and Release Live Updates: Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu, releases in theatres on Friday. The film franchise, which started in 2016, is visibly more violent this time around and unlike the previous films, it has received an ‘A’ certificate.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the makers were asked to make 23 cuts for getting an A certificate. The report claimed that days after getting an A certificate, the makers approached the CBFC with more voluntary cuts, bringing down the film’s runtime from 2 hours and 43 minutes to 2 hours and 37 minutes.

Baaghi 4 is releasing soon after the failure of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan-starrer War 2, which managed to collect Rs 235.45 nett in India, which is much lesser than the film’s rumoured budget of approximately Rs 200 crore. For Tiger Shroff, who hasn’t had a hit since 2020’s Baaghi 3, this film is a huge gamble. Since the pandemic, he has appeared in Heropanti 2, Ganapath – A Hero Is Born and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. All these films were massive flops at the box office.
The first Baaghi was directed by Sabbir Khan, who also directed Tiger’s debut film Heropanti, and the success of the film turned it into a franchise. The second and third parts were directed by Ahmed Khan, but the new film is being directed by A Harsha, who has primarily made Kannada films in the past.
It is yet to be seen if Baaghi 4 can bring Tiger back as the action hero who has previously delivered at the box office.
Baaghi 4 marks the Bollywood debut of Harnaaz Sandhu, who was crowned Miss Universe 2021. She was previously seen in Punjabi films Yaara Diyan Poon Baran and Bai Ji Kuttange. The film also stars Sonam Bajwa, who is also known for her Punjabi films. Sanjay Dutt is playing the antagonist in the film.
It has been rumoured that Baaghi 4 is the unofficial remake of the Tamil film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu.
