Actor Ashish Vidyarthi on Thursday took to social media to share a picture from his vacation with wife Rupali Barua. The couple tied the knot last month. In the picture shared on Instagram, Ashish and Rupali are seen smiling away for the camera as they sit in a tourist bus.

The actor captioned the photo, “Thank you dear Dosst, for your love and wishes..Alshukran Bandhu.. Alshukran Zindagi. Thank you Tintin for this beautiful capture!.”

As soon as Ashish shared the picture, his fans and friends flooded the comments section of the post. One person wrote, “Welcome to Singapore! Hope we can meet ❤️,” another person commented, “Congratulations dada ❤️.” A comment read, “All the best, Made for each other.”

Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot with Rupali Barua in an intimate ceremony on May 25. The actor was earlier married to Piloo Vidyarthi. The couple filed for mutual divorce in 2022 and are co-parenting their son Arth, who is 22 years old. Ashish faced some flak for remarrying as there were rumours that he and Piloo were still married. However, the actor, in a social media post, clarified that they had opted for a mutual divorce before his second marriage.

The actor, in a video message, had opened up about how he always wanted to remarry after he and Piloo got divorced. He had said, “I had a firm belief that I want to get married because I want to travel with somebody. So, I literally get the word out in the universe. I was at that point 55 and I said I want somebody to get married to. And that’s how I met Rupali Barua. We got chatting, we met a year back and then we discovered something interesting about one another and we thought we could be walking together as husband and wife and therefore, Rupali and I got married. She is 50 and I am 57, not 60, but age doesn’t matter my friend. Each one of us can be happy, whatever the age.”
