Not sure what your plans are for Valentine’s Day, but a few single people were planning to watch Captain America: Brave New World on February 14 in a special private screening hosted by YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani. Everything was set. The screen was booked. The single people were informed. And there was just one thing left. February 14 had to come. But before that could happen, a video snippet from Samay Raina’s hugely popular India’s Got Latent went viral, and was caught in the eye of a stormy controversy.
The fallout of the comments made on the recent episode of India’s Got Latent has been massive with Samay deleting all the videos of the show, and guest Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps apologising unconditionally for the statements. Another guest on the show was Ashish, who is also in the line of fire, albeit not with the same intensity that the mob is out to get Ranveer and Samay. Nevertheless, the spotlight did fall on Ashish too, and it has not just spoiled his Valentine’s Day, but also the plans of a few other single people who were looking forward to seeing Captain America: Brave New World, and chill with Ashish.
Sharing an update about his absence from the screening, Ashish Chanchlani wrote, “Hello doston, I am not keeping well, so unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend and host the screening of the film, Captain America: Brave New World on Valentine’s Day. But don’t worry, those who are selected can still go and enjoy the show. I know, I am gonna miss y’all so much. Love you 3000!”
Earlier, announcing this idea on his social media profile, Ashish Chanchlani had proclaimed that he was holding a private screening of Captain America: Brave New World for the ‘brave single super soldiers’ and he would meet them, and watch the film with them.
