Rumours about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s breakup have been doing rounds on the internet for a while now. The couple, who were often spotted together on various occasions and went on vacations together, are rarely seen together these days, fuelling the speculations. Though the couple has yet to make an official statement, cryptic posts from them on their respective social media handles have been making headlines nowadays. This time, it’s Arjun Kapoor who shared a note on his Instagram stories about “staying positive.”
On Friday, Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram stories to share a note that read, “Staying positive does not mean that things will turn out okay. Rather, it is knowing that you will be okay no matter how things turn out.”
Before this, in June, Arjun had shared another cryptic note on Instagram that read, “We have two choices in life. We can be prisoners of our past or explorers of future possibilities.”
Just a few weeks ago, Malaika too had shared a cryptic note on her Instagram handle: “When they say you can’t do it, do it twice and take pics.” On another day, she posted, “The greatest treasure on Earth are people who love and support us. They cannot be bought or replaced, and each of us only have a few of them.”
Rumours about their breakup surfaced after fans noticed a dip in their public appearances together. Later, Pinkvilla cited a source saying that the couple had separated a few months ago. The source was quoted saying, “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship.”
However, Malaika’s manager denied the report and told India Today, “All rumours.” Despite this, Malaika’s absence from Arjun Kapoor’s recent birthday bash hinted otherwise. The couple, however, is yet to give a statement about their relationship status.
