After videos of Arbaaz Khan taking his newborn daughter home with wife Sshura Khan went viral on social media, the couple, who had so far refrained from announcing the birth of their daughter publicly, have finally confirmed the news and also revealed the name of their bundle of joy. The couple welcomed their daughter on October 5.
Sshura and Arbaaz shared a joint Instagram post that read, “Welcome baby girl, Sipaara Khan. Love Arbaaz and Shura.” The caption of the post read, “Alhamdulillah ♥️.” Sipaara means “a beautiful woman” in Arabic, while in Persian it translates to “a flower.” In Hindi, Sipaara refers to one of the 30 parts into which the Quran is divided.
Earlier today, a video of Arbaaz holding his little munchkin in his arms and bringing her home was circulated on social media. He was seen leaving the hospital, with Sshura accompanying him. The video showed Arbaaz happily waving at the paparazzi, while Sshura quietly stayed inside the car wearing a mask.
During their hospital stay, Sshura was joined by Arbaaz’s brothers, Sohail Khan and Salman Khan, who came to see her and the baby. Arbaaz’s son from his first marriage with Malaika Arora, Arhaan Khan, was also spotted at the hospital multiple times.
Arbaaz married makeup artist Sshura in 2023. They had kept the news of her pregnancy under wraps, but he recently confirmed it while speaking with The Delhi Times. He also shared his excitement about becoming a father again after 22 years, saying, “It’s a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We’re going to welcome this new life into our lives.”
