Anushka Sharma pens rare note for Virat Kohli’s sister-in-law this Diwali: ‘In every pose, she mirrors yoga itself…’

The story quickly went viral, catching the attention of fans who rarely see Anushka express personal sentiments online. Chetna later reshared the story on her profile with a simple, heartfelt message: “Thank you so much!”

What did Chetna Kohli post?

Chetna, who often shares snippets of her yoga practice on Instagram, posted a series of photos performing various asanas. Alongside the images, she wrote a deeply reflective caption: “My poses are far from perfect and that’s where my practice lives. Some days I tremble, waver, and some days I flow. But every attempt is a prayer of becoming and willingness to learn, unlearn & evolve. A reminder that GROWTH IS SACRED EVEN IN ITS IMPERFECTIONS.”

“This Diwali, I offer my practice to the divine light within. I choose to light up myself—to transform not the world around me, but the one within me. To let the inner flame of truth burn away self-doubt, fear, illusion, limitation, and return to the Essence of who I am.”

The post resonated with many, including both Anushka and Virat’s sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra. Anushka commented: “You are always full of grace and strength, Chets! SO proud of you.”

While Bhawna wrote: “Grace personified. Peaceful within, peace outside.”

Virat-Anushka’s family dynamics

Reports suggest that Anushka and Chetna share a close bond and are often seen enjoying each other’s company at family gatherings. Chetna is married to Vikas Kohli, Virat’s older brother, who also oversees several of Virat’s business ventures, including the One8 Commune restaurant chain.

While the Kohli family appears closely knit, Virat and Anushka have occasionally made headlines for their reportedly strained relationship with Virat’s sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra.

Recently, Bhawna grabbed attention for celebrating RCB’s first win in 18 years of IPL. While she expressed her support for her brother Virat, a troll commented on the post, questioning her apparent distance from Anushka and Virat. The troll wrote: “Why does he never mention you in any speech or even like your post? Not even Anushka. Lol.”

Bhawna responded gracefully: “May God give you the patience to understand that love can exist in many ways—not necessarily shown to the world, but still very much there, like the love for the Almighty. Hope you have enough love in your life, no insecurities, only true bonds which don’t need any validation. God bless you.”
