Animal box office collection Day 10 early report: The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal is poised to have a great Sunday. According to early estimates (posted at 6 pm) by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has made a collection of Rs 28.8 crore on its 2nd Sunday. The movie’s total collection in India now stands at Rs 424.07 crore.
Sacnilk also mentioned that Animal’s morning shows had a 36.98% occupancy while afternoon shows had 65.15% occupancy. Meanwhile, the film has collected Rs 660.89 crore worldwide.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has been the talk of the town ever since it hit theatres on December 1. While the general public is lapping up the movie, it has been panned by some for ‘glorifying’ misogyny and toxic masculinity. However, the film continues to have a successful run at the box office.
Animal is currently the 4th highest-earning Hindi film of 2023. It is in the 8th spot in the list of top 10 all-time highest-grossing Hindi films worldwide. If the movie continues its momentum, it can surpass Gadar 2, which earned Rs 691.08 crore worldwide.
Animal had a clash with Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur, but it has been way ahead of the Meghna Gulzar directorial in terms of box office earnings.
