Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor have acquired a new property in the heart of the financial capital of India, making another valuable addition to their long list of assets. Spanning about 1,165 sq ft, the apartment is situated in Bandra West, Mumbai, and was reportedly purchased for a whopping Rs 5 crore.
According to property registration documents on the IGR website, reviewed by the real estate marketplace squareyards.com, the apartment is located within The Smoky Hill CHS Ltd in the upscale area of Bandra West, which houses several premium residential and commercial properties. The apartment has a built-up area of 108.25 sq m (approximately 1,165 sq ft) and a carpet area of roughly 90 sq m (970.71 sq ft). The deal also includes one garage space. The transaction was registered in August 2025 and incurred a stamp duty payment of Rs 30 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000.
One of the most sought-after localities in Mumbai, Bandra West features a mix of upscale apartments, heritage bungalows, and boutique commercial developments. What makes the area even more desirable is its excellent connectivity through the Western Express Highway and Bandra railway station, as well as its proximity to the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
The son of producer Surinder Kapoor, Anil Kapoor is one of the most accomplished stars in modern Hindi cinema, having appeared in over 100 movies throughout a career spanning four decades. He made his acting debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya (2016), sharing the screen with Saiyami Kher.
