Ananya Panday, who is gearing up for the release of her next film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, has revealed how she once crashed a wedding party with Sara Ali Khan. Ananya said that Sara entered the party and started dancing.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ananya was asked if she has ever crashed a wedding. The actor, who initially said no, later revealed, “I have crashed a wedding, actually, with Sara. Actually, uh, it wasn’t a wedding; it was like a wedding party. We were somewhere, we were having dinner, and we were walking by, and we heard this loud Hindi music playing. Sara, being Sara, was like, ‘I’m going in and dancing.’ Sara has gone in the middle of the dance floor, started dancing, and I was like dragging her off the dance floor.”
Ananya and Sara recently appeared together on the show Koffee with Karan season 8. Apart from spilling some beans about their personal lives, the duo also revealed how their friendship has strengthened over time.
The Dream Girl actor said on the show, “Whenever any of my trailers, songs or teasers come out. Sara and Jahnvi have always been the consistent people who message me. I have a lot of support from them. We are very honest with each other, like Sara showed me a song and I was like ‘No Sara, don’t do that’.”
Sara had opened up about not having unrealistic expectations from her friends in the industry. She said, “I’m not saying that Ananya is not a good friend of mine. She is, but I don’t have any unrealistic expectations from anybody. That maybe helps a little bit. Like, there isn’t an expectation that I won’t look at a boy that you like, I won’t do a film that you are interested in.”
