Ananya Panday is often surrounded by fans who are trying to get selfies with her. Recently, a fan tried to get too close to the actor in the hopes of clicking a selfie, her bodyguard pushed him away but Ananya asked the fan to click a photo anyway. The incident took place a few months ago but the video has resurfaced on the internet again.
The video showed Panday engaging in selfie poses with a few fans. However, the atmosphere changed when a man approached her from behind and got extremely close to the actor, noticing which Panday’s bodyguard forcefully pushed the man away while firmly instructing him, “Hatt jaa yahan se” (move away from here).
Nevertheless, Panday promptly reacted to the situation and suggested to the fan to capture the selfie from a distance. “Aap le lo picture, wahan se le lo (You can take the picture from there),” the actor could be heard saying in the video.
Some netizens supported the fan and criticised the bodyguard for their seemingly aggressive behaviour. Meanwhile, others noted that the fan had approached Panday at an uncomfortably close proximity and lauded the guard for prompt action. “Such a bad behaviour by guard.. celeb bante ho toh itna natural h koi b pik chahega,” one user commented under an Instagram video showing the incident.
“I understand all the hate, but are we just ignore the fact that he was too close to her? All those hating on her, would you allow this to happen to your wife or girlfriend or sister? Don’t be blinded by hate that you start losing common sense 🤦🏻♂️,” another netizen wrote. “Salute to security guard👍 he protected her with evil guy who is going to touch from back,” an Instagrammer pointed out.
On the work front, Ananya Panday is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Dream Girl 2, helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor in pivotal roles. She will also be seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which also stars Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
