Actor Alia Bhatt is riding high on the success of her recently released Bollywood film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and is now all set for the release of her debut Hollywood film, Heart of Stone. Recently, she promoted the film with her co-actors, Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, during which she made Gadot do the hook step of the RRR song, ‘Naatu Naatu’. She also taught her a couple of expressions in the Telugu language.
Bhatt, Gadot and Dornan answered some of the most Googled questions about themselves during an interview with Wired. One of the questions that Gadot asked Bhatt was, “Does Alia Bhatt speak Telugu?” She replied that she is not fluent in the language, but does know a couple of sentences. Gadot asked her to speak in Telugu. Bhatt said, “Andariki namaskaram,” which translates to “Hello everyone,” in English. Gadot followed Alia and tried speaking the language.
Later in the video, Bhatt was also asked if she was in the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’. She said, “Unfortunately, no.” But she did the famous hook step and also taught some of it to Gadot.
Directed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone will be released on Netflix on August 11. It also stars Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi and Paul Ready.
During the interview, Alia Bhatt answered a few more questions about herself, including if she has any tattoos. The actor confirmed she doesn’t have any yet, but, “My husband (Ranbir Kapoor) and I are planning on getting something.” Sharing that she is a Piscean, Bhatt said that she is “extremely sensitive” and has some “bizarre ideologies of love.” She admitted to living mostly in her head, and said that even though her ‘resting face’ might suggest otherwise, she is actually ‘very happy’. She added, “I am possibly the happiest person alive right now.”
She became a mother in November last year and is busy parenting her daughter Raha, along with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor.
