Alia Bhatt, who is currently celebrating her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, recently took to Instagram to host an AMA session with her fans. When one of the users asked her about the best way to deal with toxicity and criticism, the actor shared her insight. Alia’s recent make-up tutorial where she spoke about husband Ranbir Kapoor not liking her wearing lipstick sparked a lot of criticism from fans.
Answering her fan’s question on Instagram, Alia wrote, “Constructive criticism is the best way to grow, but words that are meant to hurt you can only hurt if you let them… No one can take you who are away from you… cultivate a life so full of love and gratitude that toxicity wouldn’t even REACH you.”
When another fan asked the “best thing about Ranbir Kapoor,” Alia shared a photo with her husband and wrote, “He’s my happy place cause I can be my truest most authentic self with him.”
During her make-up tutorial with Vogue, Alia said that Ranbir likes her natural lip shade and shared, “After applying the lipstick, I rub it off because one thing my husband, who was also my boyfriend, when we go out at night, he’s like ‘wipe that off’ because he loves the natural colour of my lips.” Alia and Ranbir got married in April 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November.
When another fan asked Alia how she was so positive all the time, she responded, “Why not? It’s not like I don’t have bad days… but I choose to be grateful for life & just shine like the sun does everyday without complaining.”
Alia Bhatt was recently seen in her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Shortly before that, she was seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and has been receiving a lot of praise for her work in the film.
This was Alia’s third consecutive success at the box office after Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra. She is yet to announce her next film.
