Alia Bhatt-Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Gulaabo’ track receives ‘Shaandaar’ response

‘Gulaabo’ track from Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s forthcoming film, ‘Shaandaar’ was finally launched on Thursday (September 10). Just like the trailer, the song did not disappoint.

‘Gulaabo’ is a catchy, foot-tapping delight with the lead pair showing off their incredible dance moves. We also get a glimpse of Shahid’s real life half-sister Sanah, who plays the bride in the film, while Shahid is Jagjinder Joginder, the wedding planner, who Alia falls head lover heels in love with.

The song was well received, with more than 2.6 million views in just 18 hours. It soon began trending on Twitter by the hashtag #GulaaboSmashesRecords.

Shahid and Alia also danced to Gulaabo at the song’s launch held in Mumbai on September 10.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, ‘Shaandaar’ hits screens on October 22.
