Alia Bhatt seems to be in love with her husband Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The actor on Sunday shared a photo of herself as she donned the film’s customised T-shirt.

Alia captioned her post, “Such a LUV-LY time at movies with possibly the sweetest jhoothi and the cutest makkaar 💘💘💘 @luv_films @shraddhakapoor Congratulations you guys 🤩🤩.”

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is directed by Luv Ranjan and also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.

Released on Holi (March 8), Ranbir Kapoor’s rom-com had a decent opening of Rs 15.73 crore. While the next two days saw a dip, the film earned Rs 16.57 crore on Saturday. This brings the total to Rs 53.16 crore. While the Saturday numbers are impressive, Sunday is said to be even bigger as the movie is expected to earn around Rs 17.35 crore. However, its real test will be on Monday.

The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta gave the movie one and a half stars, and wrote in her review, “The writers of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar clearly didn’t get the memo on brevity being the soul of wit: the film drags on for two hours before it comes to the last twenty minutes, which is when the pace picks up.”
