Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s new house in Mumbai has been under construction for several months. Recently, a video of their Rs 250 crore Krishna Raj bungalow went viral on social media, offering a full frontal view of the six-storey property in Bandra. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt shared a strong note, emphasizing the need to respect personal boundaries and refrain from any invasion of privacy.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a post which read, “I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited – sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online. A video of our home – still under construction – has been recorded and circulated by multiple publications, without our knowledge or consent.”
She added, “This is a clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue. Filming or photographing someone’s personal space without permission is not ‘content’ – it’s a violation. It should never be normalised.”
“Think about it: would you tolerate videos of the inside of your home being shared publicly, without you knowing? None of us would. So here’s a humble but firm request – if you come across such content online, please don’t forward it or share it further. And to our friends in the media who have carried these images and videos: I urge you to take them down immediately. Thank you,” the actor concluded the note.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film also stars Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The action-thriller is slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025. Alia also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in the pipeline, which co-stars her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the big screen in March 2026.
