Akshay Kumar reveals someone slit his arm with a blade while he was meeting fans: ‘He had a blade in his finger and…’

While promoting his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar opened up about a time when one of his fans slit his arm with a blade.

Superstar Akshay Kumar has opened up about the weirdest fan encounter he’s ever had. Akshay, who’s been a fan favourite for over 30 years, shared that in one of the fan interactions a fan showed up with a blade stuck in their finger nail and while shaking hands with him slit his arm.

When asked, “What has been your weirdest fan interaction?,” Akshay told Ranveer Allahabadia in his podcast, “Once I was continuously shaking hands with fans, there were a lot of people and I was greeting them, and suddenly I saw my hand was bleeding. Then I realised that one of them, whom I had shook hands with, had stuck a blade in their (finger) nail and slit my arm. When you suffer a blade cut you don’t realise it as it takes a bit of time for you to understand that you’ve been cut, you come to know after about 2-3 seconds.”

Akshay also added that he has still not understood what triggers some fans to take such drastic steps and behave in a particular way when they meet stars. “It is in madness that they do it, I don’t know what makes them (do it), what triggers them to do it!,” he said.

Akshay had recently taken to his social media platforms to thank his fans for the love they’ve been showering on his over the year. Sharing a throwback photo of himself, he had written, “Your firsts are always special ♥️ And so is this photo, taken when I was 23…my first time in front of the camera and before I could realise, it soon became my first love, all thanks to your love. #ThrowbackThursday.”

Akshay is all set for the release of his actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff releasing on April 10, coinciding with Eid. The film is directed by Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger fame, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.
