After deleting pictures with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh says his wedding ring is ‘very dear’ to him: ‘Presented by my wife…’

Rumours began swirling around Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh after he removed his wedding pictures with wife Deepika Padukone from Instagram. At an event on Wednesday, Ranveer seemingly put an end to the speculation. The actor was asked about his fondest pieces of jewellery, and he expressed his attachment to his wedding ring, describing it as precious. Talking to Vogue, the actor said, “Personal, sentimental value attached to them are my favourite, most dear pieces,” before talking about his wedding ring. Ranveer said, “One of the rings that are very dear to me is this one — it’s my wedding ring, presented to me by my wife. The other one is a platinum engagement ring. And there’s of course my mother’s diamond earrings and my grandmother’s pearls.”

Fans recently noticed that Ranveer archived everything on his Instagram page before 2023, including the wedding pictures. Now, his oldest post is from January 24, 2023, showing a video for a sportswear brand. His latest post, shared on April 26, 2024, is an advertisement in which he features alongside Alia Bhatt. Deepika also archived their wedding pictures on Instagram a while back.

The soon-to-be parents were spotted at the Mumbai airport on May 8. According to reports, the couple returned from their babymoon at an undisclosed location.

Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in November 2018, and the couple is now gearing up to welcome their first child in September, 2024. Deepika will next be seen in the film Singham Again. She will play Shakti Shetty in the action film, directed by Rohit Shetty and also starring Ranveer, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, among others.
