Aayush Sharma faced vicious trolling during the release of his debut film, Loveyatri, which was produced by his brother-in-law, Salman Khan. Many comments targeted Aayush, blaming him for supposedly squandering Salman’s money. The criticism reached a despicable low when a troll suggested that Salman “should have launched a dog instead of Aayush.” In a recent interview, Aayush Sharma got emotional when asked about this hurtful remark. He tearfully expressed his desire for his children to be proud of him and shared how this became a turning point in his life.

Talking to Siddharth Kannan, he said, “That day is what made me. I was facing a lot of things till then but when I was compared to a dog that day I had a thought. That when my son grows up and goes on the Internet and reads about his father, (he will read) some person wrote that ‘his father is a dog’ that for me was… When my son and daughter grow up they should read good things about their father. They should be proud of me. And a big portal wrote about me that I am a dog, ‘Aayush Sharma is a dog .’

Aayush admitted that the harsh comment pushed him and made him work hard on himself. He said, “Today, I want to thank them, you kicked me to become this person.” Aayush said that today, when he is scared of performing a stunt, he thinks about making his legacy and what he will leave behind for his children.

Following the lukewarm reception of Loveyatri at the box office, Aayush Sharma collaborated with Salman Khan again, this time sharing the screen with him in Antim. The film, however, achieved moderate success. Aayush is now gearing up for the release of Ruslaan. Directed by Karan Lalit Butani, the film will release in theatres on April 26.
