Bhatt camps’ Aashiqui 2 has woven its musical magic at the box office.
The new Aashiqui,which released almost 23 years after the original,is a smash hit and the movie managed to collect over Rs 20 crore in its opening weekend.
Aashiqui 2 featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur got mixed reviews. But the movie saw a jump on Saturday,wrote film critic Taran Adarsh on Twitter.
Aashiqui 2‘s romantic number Tum hi ho got over 1,852,947 hits on YouTube within 10 days of its launch.
Aashiqui 2,directed by Mohit Suri,has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. The original Aashiqui starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
