Actor Aamir Khan arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly built International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) named as ‘Bharat Mandapam’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the IECC.
Aamir was dressed formally in a maroon kurta and white pyjama as he sat in the front row during the ceremony. The actor seemed to be focused on the ceremony as he listened intently to what was being presented on stage. The new International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at the redeveloped Pragati Maidan will be the venue of the G-20 Summit in September. It is set to be India’s largest conference and exhibition venue.
Aamir arrived in Delhi on Wednesday morning. He was clicked leaving the Mumbai airport in a casual black t-shirt and denim pants. The actor, however didn’t pose for the cameramen waiting for him at the airport.
Aamir has been spending time away from the camera. In 2022, he announced that he would be taking a btreak from the movies to spend time with his family. He was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which tanked at the box office. The movie was the official Hindi remake of Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump.
Aamir is yet to announce his next film.
