In the video, Aamir is seen playing a doubles match with Fatima Sana Sheikh at a sports venue in Mumbai. Pickleball, a sport that is a combination of tennis, badminton and table tennis and many sports enthusiasts and Bollywood celebrities have been thronging pickleball courts in the city to try out the newly introduced sport.

Some of Aamir Khan and Fatima’s fans were surprised seeing them together, while others poured in their love for the two of them. Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, actors Anil Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana and others have been promoting the sport actively in India, in fact Khaitan has also introduced a Global Sports Pickleball Championship, which was inaugurated by Alia Bhatt recently.

Soon after featuring in sports drama Dangal, Fatima got close to Aamir Khan’s family and was recently seen at Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan’s engagement and birthday parties. She is often seen mingling with Ira and Aamir’s former wife Kiran Rao. A couple of years ago, rumours of a possible romance between Aamir and Fatima made rounds on the internet.

Fatima, while rubbishing the link-up rumours in an interview with Filmfare in 2019, had said, “Earlier, I used to get affected. I’d feel bad. Because I’ve never dealt with anything of this sort at such a big level. A bunch of strangers, whom I’ve never met, are writing things about me. They don’t even know if there’s any truth to it. People reading it assume that I’m ‘not a good person’. You feel like telling that person, ‘Ask me, I’ll give you an answer’. It disturbs me because I don’t want people to assume wrong things. But I’ve learnt to ignore it. Yet, there are some days when I do get affected.”

On the work front Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chadha and then he did a special appearance in Kajol’s Salaam Venky. He is now on a break to spend time with his family. Fatima, on the other hand, received appreciation for her role Lalzari in Modern Love Mumbai, she’ll next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur with Vicky kaushal and Sanya Malhotra.
