When it comes to cult romances that have come out of Bollywood, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is up there with the best of them. But have you ever imagined Salman Khan recreating the epic ‘Palat’ scene from the film? On Sunday’s Bigg Boss 10 episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman will give a comic twist to Shah Rukh Khan’s romantic scene from the film. But who will be his Simran? Salman’s Simran would be none other than Vidya Balan, who is appearing on the show to promote her upcoming film, Kahaani 2. Even Vidya gives a distinctly Katrina Kaif twist to her character of Simran.
The Kahaani actor delivers the dialogue with a foreign accent, just like Katrina and while she was wondering why Salman did not turn even after she asked him to ‘Palat’, he replies, “I am peeing.” Vidya later asks him how can he pee with hands in the air, to which the actor says, “Bade bade desho main aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai.”

In fact, the duo will also recreate the train sequence where Salman Khan will speak Amrish Puri’s dialogues like Aamir Khan while Vidya sticks to her character of Katrina.
Later in the episode, Vidya will be seen playing a game with Salman where both of them have to reveal something about themselves. While one of them narrates a story, the other person will have to guess if it’s true or not. Salman narrates a story during which he tells the audience that he had painted a picture (portrait) of Katrina Kaif after getting inspired by a picture clicked by JP Singh (his favourite photographer).
He describes that in the picture Katrina was dressed in an Indian attire and he really liked it. The actor further says when he had shown the painting to Katrina, she said it looked more like Vidya Balan. Curious Vidya asked Salman a few questions to know if Salman’s story was true or not. She asks him where is the picture right now to which the Sultan actor answers he doesn’t remember but it should be either with Katrina or with him. Vidya guesses that it’s a true story and keeps asking for the painting during the episode.

Vidya and Shah Rukh Khan have shared the screen for a short while in Hey Baby film. However, the actor has never got the chance to work with Salman Khan till now. Vidya’s Kahaani 2 will release on December 2. The film also stars Arjun Rampal.
