As the clock ticks down to the much-anticipated moment when the winner of Bigg Boss 18 will be announced by host Salman Khan at the end of the grand finale on Sunday, all eyes are on the six finalists who have made it to the top of the ongoing edition of the beloved reality television show. The finalists are television actors Vivian Dsena, Karanveer Mehra, Eisha Singh, and Avinash Mishra, along with model-activist Chum Darang and fitness influencer Rajat Dalal.
Since each contestant is a strong contender, their fans are equally hopeful that their star will emerge victorious, claiming a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh in addition to the coveted trophy. During the grand finale, which will air on Colors TV and the Jio Cinema app, four contestants will face elimination, following which the names of the winner and runner-up will be revealed by Salman Khan, in his 14th year as the show’s host.
With only a few hours remaining for the commencement of the finale, SCREEN is eager to find out who the winner will be. To gauge public opinion, we ran a poll on our X (formerly Twitter) handle. While official voting trends suggest Rajat Dalal is in the lead, our poll showed a clear favourite.
Based on the poll results, Avinash Mishra, known for his roles in popular TV shows like Yeh Teri Galiyan and Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer, is emerging as the frontrunner with an impressive 66.7 per cent of the votes. For the second position, there is a tie between television actors Karanveer Mehra and Vivian Dsena. Karanveer, recognized for his performances in Biwi Aur Main, Virrudh, Amrit Manthan, and Pavitra Rishta, and Vivian, celebrated for Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, both currently hold 40.7 per cent of the votes as of 4:40 PM on Sunday. Meanwhile, Rajat Dalal and Eisha Singh are projected to secure the remaining spot in the poll with 18.5 per cent and 33.3 per cent of the votes.
The grand finale will air on Colors TV at 9.30 pm tonight and is expected to run for two and a half to three hours, culminating in the announcement of the season’s grand champion around midnight. Audiences can also stream the live episode on Jio Cinema and Jio TV.
