Actor Alia Bhatt has delivered several hit films and eventually ventured into production. It is well known that she also runs a sustainable kids’ clothing line. When asked about the importance of work-life balance and her secret behind managing it all, the actor said that she understands that she doesn’t have all the answers and that’s okay.

Alia spoke at the launch of Prime Video’s latest series, Mission Start Ab in New Delhi, which aims to find an innovative start-up genius through the seven-episode series. The series has been made in partnership with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India.

Alia, talking about juggling multiple roles in real life, said, “I think everyone here has a balance that they need to maintain. You have to maintain your family, work-life, and children but we do it because such is life and we need to keep moving. Keep one step in front of the other, don’t think about what you are not doing right. Keep a smile on your face and even if tears are rolling down, it’s okay because such is life.”

She added, “Sometimes I don’t have all the answers, I don’t know how to manage but I know what my top priorities are. Of course, now my daughter is on top of the list… you just have to keep going and not think about how well you are doing or how badly you are doing. Stop yourself to give a pat on the back, but keep going.”

The actor is thrilled about Mission Start Ab, which will bring in 10 entrepreneurs and challenge them during different stages of the competition, eventually making one of them the final winner.

Alia revealed she has many expectations from the web series and also confidence that it will work in favour of the contesting entrepreneurs and the audience. “You are talking about going and supporting innovation on the grassroots level. I am expecting to be wowed, surprised, edge of my seat, and really so proud of where our country is at today. I am also expecting honesty and vulnerability and I would like to see that because it’s not easy and at the of the day Mission Star Ab is a competition and I know that one person will win but in the end what I know is that the other 9 will not go unnoticed. So, there is so much exposure and such a beautiful platform. Inspiring people sitting at home, watching the show and resonating… even if they don’t go on Mission Start Ab, they will go and start something of their own,” said the actor.

The launch event also saw Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India in attendance along with Chetan Krishnaswamy, Vice President – Public Policy at Amazon India and Sushant Sreeram, Country Director, Prime Video, India.
