Salaar box-office collection day 18 early report: Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film has collected over Rs 395 crore in India.

Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar has completed more than two weeks of theatrical run. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film debuted with an impressive Rs 90.7 crore haul at the box office. Despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, the film has managed to mint over Rs 395 crore in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. After collecting Rs 6.05 crores on Sunday, the collections took a hit on the third Monday. Sacnilk reported that the film has collected Rs 1.4 crore (As of 7 pm) on Monday. 

Prabhas, Prithviraj and Prashanth, along with other members of the film, recently came together for a celebration. The lead actors were seen cutting a cake together, while others cheered for them. The caption along with the pictures read, “The blockbuster success calls for a blockbuster celebration! Salaar box office storm… Record breaking Salaar… Salaar ruling box office.”


According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Salaar is racing towards the Rs 700 crore club worldwide. He reported that on January 8, the film sold a total of 3,31,632 tickets from 6061 shows with a 21.62 % occupancy rate at the Indian box office. The movie earned Rs 5.38 crore overall, with contributions from PVR (Rs 0.84 crore), INOX (Rs 0.50 crore), and Cinepolis (Rs 0.38 crore). 

Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand and Sriya Reddy in pivotal roles. The film‘s second part has been titled Salaar: Part 2- Shouryanga Parvam.
