After the blockbuster success of Hanu Man, a desi reimagining of the superhero genre set against our mythology, director Prashant Varma is back with the next chapter with his next superhero epic, Adhira. The next part of his superhero universe, entitled ‘PVCU’, will not be directed by Prashant Varma. The film will be helmed by Sharan Koppishetty, who has previously directed films like Kirrak Party (2018) and Thimmarusu (2021). There is no clear indication as to whether Prashant Varma as screenwriter or whether the team behind ‘Hanu-Man’ Scriptsville will be taking part in the writing of this new film.
This new superhero film will star Kalyan Dasari, with S J Suryah (with bull-like horns) playing the antagonist. The first look poster released by the team features a stylish-looking Kalyan (in a suit with thunder as his symbol) and S J Suryah (with two horns) in a period costume against the backdrop of an erupting volcano. The film is the acting debut of Kalyan Desai as a leading man, who has co-produced Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming biggie, OG. There has been no confirmation regarding the supporting cast of the film.
