Get ready for an old-school romantic drama about two high-school friends from estranged families falling in love–the kind of stories which have become scarce these days. Director Nandini Reddy is bringing back the simple story to screens with the film Anni Manchi Sakunamule. The movie is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video on June 17.
In Anni Manchi Sakunamule, actors Santosh Shoban and Malvika Nair are playing the lead couple, Rishi and Aarya, who are poles apart in character. Despite their differences and warring families, the two find themselves in love with each other and strive for the approval of their families. Set in a fictional town called Victoriapuram, the film is touted to be an emotional family drama. The trailer of the movie also promises a complete package of humour, romance and emotions.

Other than Santosh Shoban and Malvika Nair, Anni Manchi Sakunamule also stars Rajendra Prasad, Gautami, Vennela Kishore and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles. The film, bankrolled by Swapna Cinema and Mitra Vinda Movies, has music by Mickey J Meyer.
