Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande entered the TV reality show Bigg Boss 17 with her husband Vicky Jain. During their time in the show, they had some major arguments with each other, and they also brought up divorce several times. However, Vicky recently clarified that it was just something said in anger and they didn’t mean it. He also explained that him holding fellow contestant Sana Raees Khan’s hand during one of their conversations meant nothing.
Vicky ensured that he and Ankita resolved their fights quite quickly. On being asked about bringing up divorce in their arguments often, he told Siddharth Kannan, “A husband and wife also share a kind of comfort and humour. In love marriages, you don’t have to change yourself as a person, you don’t have to behave in a certain way, you have the freedom, so we are just free and we have a certain kind of humour which we both keep cracking with each other.”
However, sometimes one of them takes offence but the other “keeps playing along with it.” Vicky believes this saves their relationship from becoming ‘boring’. He added, “It can’t be a very straight and boring kind of a relationship. It’s not what we have with each other. We have a lot of fun, we are more of friends, we fight, we argue and still be together. I feel that is the most real kind of a relationship.”
Asked if Vicky and Ankita discussed their issue of the Bigg Boss 17 house after the show ended, the former asserted, “We don’t even feel the need to discuss it as we know where we are, where we were and where we would be in our relationship.”
During one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita also called her husband “womaniser” and later regretted it. She even vocalised her disapproval of Vicky getting closer to other girls in the house, including Ayesha Khan, Sana Raees Khan and Mannara Chopra.
Vicky said he was like an ‘elder brother’ to everyone in the show. “Saare log merko bhaiyaa bolne lage the because I was way elder to them. There were 21-22 years old girls. I was so free in that environment because I felt like that elderly figure. Ayesha also told me that she wants to tie a rakhi to me every year,” he shared.

The businessman also clarified that him holding Sana’s hand during one of their conversations was not intentional. “It was just a moment, we were talking and my hand must be there and we didn’t even realise that something is happening because you get comfortable with people like cousins. You go in that zone since you get comfortable with them as you do everything, from eating to fighting, with them. We all know that there was nothing wrong between anyone. I am a friendly person and I happen to bond with people,” reasoned Vicky.
Bigg Boss 17 concluded with Munawar Faruqui lifting the trophy. Abhishek Kumar ended up being the first runner-up and Mannara Chopra was the second runner-up.
