Sudhanshu Pandey quits Anupamaa, makes an emotional announcement on social media: ‘The decision was sudden’

While he thanked the audience for all their love and support, he also added, “The decision was sudden, but it is for better prospects in life that we have to make such choices. But I will play many different roles in the future and I hope you will give me the same love and support.”

Reacting to this, one user commented, “No one can play Vanraj Shah better than you!” Another admirer wrote, “You will be deeply missed because I loved Vanraj Shah, the character who you brought into life. It’s so sad to see you leave.” Actor Anirudh Dave also reacted to this news and commented, “Dear brother. Vanraj was beautifully played by you. You’re a phenomenal actor. Played such a layered character it was well emoted and amazingly portrayed by you much love bhai .. See u soon!”

Earlier this week there were speculations that Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna might exit the show. However, Rajan Shahi debunked the rumours and confirmed that they are very much a part of the show. As for Sudhanshu’s exit, there has been no comment so far from the production house.

Sudhanshu recently regrouped with The Band of Boys, his famous 90s band. They also released their album Gori Again last week. Sudhanshu confirmed that a lot more is happening on the music front too, and that they will be releasing the next two songs from the album very soon.
