Krushna Abhishek's father Atmaprakash Sharma was suffering from cancer for many years. His health had worsened in the last 15-20 days.

Krushna Abhishek’s father was a cancer patient for many years.

Comedian Krushna Abhishek might be tickling your funny bones every now and then. Bad sadly we might long to see his personal smile in real life. Krushna’s father Atmaprakash Sharma made his heavenly departure on Friday morning at his residence in Mumbai. Atmaprakash, who was the brother-in-law of actor Govinda was suffering from cancer for past many years. The patriarch’s health worsened in the last few weeks until he finally succumbed to the illness, breathing his last today.

Krushna, his actress sister Arti Singh celebrated their father’s 75th birthday only a week back. Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah had also shared some pictures from the family album from the special day. Krushna is a known face in the television world and has carved a niche for himself with his amazing comic timing.

Krushna Abhishek and his actress sister Arti Singh had a week back, celebrated the 75th birthday of their father.

Krushna is currently hosting channel Colors one of the top comedy shows Comedy Nights Live along with fellow comedian Bharti Singh. Krushna also had a fallout with Kapil Sharma when the later pulled off his show from Colors following a rift with the channel. Krushna’s show eventually replaced Kapil’s. However, the war between the two comedians continues in terms of ratings and guest list. Kapil’s show is currently doing much better than Krushna’s.
