TV actors Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid may play the perfect couple – Sandhya and Suraj – onscreen in their hit TV show ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ but it is not the same in real life.
According to reports, the two got into an argument which did not just end in a verbal spat, but turned ugly when Deepika slapped her on-screen husband played by Anas.
Reports suggest that Deepika had an argument with one of the directors of the show, when Anas tried to interrupt. Later it so happened that Deepika and Anas were engaged in a heated argument which was not only loud, but violent too. Reports also suggest that the actress not only slapped Anas but director Aakash too in front of the show’s entire unit.
According to reports, Deepika was unhappy with the way Anas touched her.
A source said, “The two got into a heated argument and started abusing each other after which Deepika slapped Anas. What exactly went wrong is not clear. On screen, both play a loving married couple, but in reality they have not been on cordial terms for almost a year now.”
Now, it is to be seen whether this incident will have any impact on the show or not?
