Dipika Kakkar Cancer Update: Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim offer health update after her cancer diagnosis: ‘These are testing times, and they shall pass’

Giving more details about her health, Shoaib said in a video, “Since there is a lot of news spreading and everyone is speculating about things, we thought it would be better to put a vlog and explain exactly what has happened. The surgery that was scheduled for this week has not happened, because on Monday, her doctor said Dipika has too much chest congestion still. Due to her cold, the surgery has been pushed to next week. Since it is risky now, the medication has also been changed. A lot of you have been asking about the PET Scan results, we don’t want to hide any details. As I had informed you earlier, she had a tennis ball-sized tumor in her liver.”

Shoaib then invited Dipika to join him, and said it would be better if she also spoke about her health. An emotional Dipika said, “Hi guys, I am meeting you all after so many days, Shoaib has updated you all about my health. The tumor has second-stage cancer. The doctor is very confident that it will be completely cured, and we trust him. We are confident and maintaining our strength, of course, even the word cancer in anyone’s life is very scary, for the patient and the family. It affects you mentally, we are just being strong.”

Shoaib went on to add, “The positive thing is that it hasn’t spread anywhere else. The AFP report’s readings were not normal, after which the doctor confirmed that the tumor is malignant. There is another test that was run to cross-check, by God’s grace, the PET Scan was normal, so the cancer is only in the tumor, and once the tumor is removed, she will get better. I feel everyone has to face a tough phase in life, but we still thank God. The pain in the stomach was due to having a gallbladder stone. It all started from there, and then we discovered the major issue. These are testing times, and they shall pass.”

“I didn’t want to show Dipika in the vlog until she recovered, because then people make weird thumbnails and post. But since too many speculations happened, we thought to do this together. Please do keep praying. Dipika has been quite strong in all of this. I was a little disappointed yesterday, but I respect the doctor’s decision,” Shoaib added.

Dipika Kakar also ended the vlog thanking fans for praying for her and said, “Everyone gets scared, I was also very scared. I will come out of it strongly. Please do pray for me, us, and also Ruhaan.”
