Standup comedian Munawar Faruqui has had the most interesting journey on Bigg Boss 17. Right from the time he entered the show, it felt like he was in it to win it. From his one-liners to his oh-so-cool stance, Munawar was truly in Bigg Boss to win hearts. However, his game backfired soon and his smooth journey hit a roadblock when Ayesha Khan entered the show making some serious allegations against the Lock Upp Season 1 winner.

But, through the ups and downs, Munawar stood strong and eventually became the finalist. After his journey of more than 100 days, Munawar, who is celebrating his birthday today, has now emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17.

Munawar was the smartest player from the very first day. While his friendship with Mannara Chopra in the beginning was quite loved, Munna also won the admiration of Bigg Boss. With Ayesha Khan coming on the show and claiming that Munawar cheated on her, his game did get impacted for a moment. But accepting his wrongdoings, Munawar continued with his journey.

With every passing week, Munawar Faruqui emerged as a tough competition for the contestants. He had his share of fights, and arguments, but these did not deter him. Even when Ayesha blamed him for cheating on her, making false promises, and proposing to another girl for marriage, Munawar never hit back. However, he did open up on the issue and shared that he is not very proud of this episode in his life. His personal life being dragged on a public platform became a highlight this season.

Munawar also made some very good friends on Bigg Boss 17. While he shared a great bond with Ankita Lokhande, their friendship broke during a task. However, Munawar never held any grudges. Another super fun bond he made on the show was with finalist Abhishek Kumar. Though Munawar has some bad memories from the show, he is also carrying with him some great friendships with Ankita, Mannara, and Abhishek.
