Bigg Boss 15 premiere LIVE UPDATES: Shamita, Nishant, Pratik become ‘sankat’ for housemates

Pratik Sehajpal greets everyone but his way of greeting did not go down well with Umar Riaz. Umar jokes about Pratik's attitude. The two get into an intense fight.

Shamita Shetty, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat are given some powers. The three can use every luxury of Bigg Boss house. They will have the right to nominate, and only these three can become captain of the house. Bigg Boss introduces them as the real sankat for housemates living in BB forest.

Mouni Roy asks the least favourite housemates - Donal Bisht, Vidhi Pandya and Ieshaan Sehgaal to clean Bigg Boss house. Later, Mouni welcomes Shamita Shetty, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat to the house. Bigg Boss informs the trio will stay in the Bigg Boss house while the others will remain in the jungle.

Vishal Kotian says Donal Bisht and Sahil Shroff are the most boring contestants while Afsana Khan is extremely self-obsessed.

Jay Bhanushali has already started showing his aggressive side. During the task assigned by Mouni Roy, Simba Nagpal says he is unable to bond with people because of the generation gap and takes Jay's name. A furious Jay calls out Simba and takes offence at his comment. 'You will also be my age someday,' says Jay to Simba.

Mouni Roy asks housemates to share who they did not like in the first impression. Afsana Khan and Tejasswi Prakash get into an argument over food. Afsana says everyone sort of ganged up on her, while Tejasswi says she was not criticising the former. Jay Bhanushali and Donal Bisht also get into an argument.

Mouni Roy enters Bigg Boss 15 as the 'apsara'. Mouni performs on "Raat Ka Nasha".

Afsana Khan and Karan Kundrra decorate a camera with flowers and leaves. Afsana introduces Karan as her brother and sends a cute message for her fiancee.

Housemates get a note that hints at the arrival of 'apsaras'. Tejasswi Prakash gets a call from Vishwasuntree. After the call, she entertains housemates by mimicking the voice she heard.

Were Meisha Iyer and Pratik Sehajpal in a relationship? Well, while Meisha denies being in a relationship with Pratik, Jay Bhanushali, Vishal Kotian and Umar Riaz think otherwise.

Contestants begin their first day in Bigg Boss 15 house with the song "Chahe Koi Mujhe Junglee Kahe". Bigg Boss warns contestants that while they have entered the show easily, their journey to get inside the house will not be easy.

As soon as Ieshaan Sehgaal and Donal Bisht enter Bigg Boss house, the two start discussing about their task. Soon, Umar Riaz joins the two and the conversation turns into a heated argument. Jay Bhanushali and Tejasswi Prakash discuss how they are being pointless.

After a long discussion with Donal Bisht, Ieshaan Sehgaal decides to get nominated for eviction in the first week of Bigg Boss 15. The two enter the main house and meet other contestants.

After Ranveer Singh's exit, Salman Khan takes the audience to Donal Bisht and Ieshaan Sehgaal. The two, who are currently in a real jungle, get a deal to get inside Bigg Boss 15 house. The two have to mutually decide who will get nominated for eviction in the first week.

Ranveer Singh promoted his upcoming reality show Big Picture on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 15. Ranveer also shared that Rohit Shetty asked him to be himself in his television debut. Ranveer and Salman also congratulated each other that theatres have finally opened up. Ranveer shared the release dates of his upcoming films.

Shamita Shetty said she is tired of being a prop in the finale episode of reality shows. Salman Khan suggested her to play solo. When Shamita questioned him why he thinks so, Salman mentioned her bond with Raqesh and said, "I saw. You also fell in love."

Will Bigg Boss 15's Miesha Iyer impress the audience with her game?

Bigg Boss' Twitter page shared a video of Bigg Boss 15 contestant Simba Nagpal talking about his excitement for the show.

A post on Bigg Boss OTT contestant Pratik Sehajpal's Instagram page read, "Sher asaani se nai dikhta jungle mein yeh toh hum sabko pta hi hai ??."

"Jab India ke do super stars, Salman Khan Aur Ranveer aayenge ek saath, toh #BB15 ka premiere bann jaayega aur bhi khaas. Are you excited?," tweeted Colors.

On Bigg Boss 15 premiere night, Salman Khan introduced us to 'Bigg G' who will help the show's host on the stage.

Shilpa Shetty shared a video on Instagram and wrote, "All the bestest, Tunki… my li’l boss lady! The only consolation is I will see you more now, albeit on TV. Will missssssss you, Missy @shamitashetty_official ♥?♥?????."

Sharing an Instagram reel of himself and Shamita Shetty, Raqesh Bapat wrote, "It feels odd to be seeing you on screen and not have you next to me but I know you are going to do fab, you will shine, you will make us all proud! Karan Kundrra is certainly one of the most celebrities in the Bigg Boss 15 house.

In Bigg Boss' new season, 'Vishwasuntree' will also assign tasks to the contestants.

Singer Akasa Singh, who is known for crooning songs like “Naagin” and “Kheech Meri Photo”, is all set to make a splash on Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 15.

Umar Riaz has maintained that he never used his brother, Asim's fame to get contacts, says he already has a successful career as a doctor.  He told Times Of India, "I am not a wannabe, I have done something in life. I have had a successful career and have worked hard for 10 years. It’s not that I am Asim Riaz’s brother so I am getting this show. I also have my plus points. I look good, I have been in shape. I have tried to act and do good and if you speak to my co stars they only have good things to say. They always tell me that it doesn’t look like I am acting for the first time. I was first offered Bigg Boss OTT but I refused to do it because I wanted to be a part of the TV version. I told myself I don’t mind waiting for 3-4 years but I will only go for the TV versions."

In the latest promo for Bigg Boss 15, Salman Khan asks Nishant about the mistakes Shamita made in Bigg Boss OTT.

Shamita Shetty told Indian Express, " Bigg Boss is not an easy place, and just like anyone, I deserved to take that trophy home. I think I am so tired of being part of reality shows and standing like a prop in the top three. I think some people believe I don’t need to win this but let me tell you, it is very important to me, and I want to win."

Jay Bhanushali says that he can't believe that he's on the show, and hopes that things don't turn ugly.  "I hope they don't get to see my bad side. I somehow fail to understand how two people who cannot get along and are at loggerheads on the show, immediately become best of friends the next minute to escape getting nominated. It is not my cup of tea. But maybe the fact that we live together 24*7 so there is only so much you can ignore. I just don't think it will come naturally to me to let it go. But lets see what happens in the game," he said. 

Bigg Boss 15 contestant Tejasswi Prakash says she has no game plan. The television actor told News 18, 'I had been running away from it for last five years. I like to keep to myself. But I thought I should come out of my comfort zone and just take it up. It is a very different show. I think a lot of good things can come out of Bigg Boss.' She added, 'I have no game plan. I don’t think it is a show where you can prepare yourself. It is not Khatron Ke Khiladi, for which you can go to the gym, get fit to do stunts. Bigg Boss is about being yourself. So, I am going to be myself and have a blast inside.'

Vishal Kotian told Zoom that Bigg Boss 15 host Salman Khan is his Dronacharya, and he is Eklavya. 

Bubbly contestant Tejasswi Prakash is already winning hearts on Bigg Boss 15. 

Though Karan Kundrra broke up with Anusha Dandekar two years ago, his relationship continues to be in the limelight. He told Hindustan Times that he expects it to be of further discussion during Bigg Boss 15, but he is prepared for it. "I am used to it, every relationship of mine has been scrutinised. Ab ye ho gaya, andar to karenge hi na (I have been through this, they will obviously scrutinise my relationships inside the house). They do not affect me. Of course, it affects my peace of mind but if I do not care for the person, I do not. But I understand what you say. The compact situation inside the Bigg Boss house can get on you. If somebody wants to irritate you, they will take up anything."

Karan Kundrra told Bollywood Life, "Bahut maja ayega agar Mohsin hoga. I think Mohsin aur Shivangi dono ko like aao. Humlogo ne bahut maze kiye the. Humlogo ne ek Bigg Boss kar lia tha pehle hi jab hum lockdown mein bio bubble mein the humne bahut maze kiye usme. Also, Mohsin is a very different person than I am. Matlab kisi kisi ko dekh kar raise lagta hai na ki ye alag hai. Like kafi serious hai. Aur jeetne aap loud ho utna hi vo calm hai, uska alag personality hai. Fir aapko aise lagta ki pata nahi kaise hoga but jab aap milte ho you bond really well." (It will be a lot of fun if Mohsin comes. I think Mohsin and Shivangi should come. We had a lot of fun. Mohsin is quite serious, and the more loud you get, the calmer he is. You don't know how it happened but you end up bonding really well)

Bigg Boss 15 contestant Donal Bisht told Hindustan Times that she was propositioned by a director during her initial days. " I think it was blown out of proportions. You know, how it happens at the very initial stages when you are a nobody and people are approaching you. For me, I had not even entered the field then. "

After the death of Bigg Boss winner Sidharth Shukla last month, fans took to social media and demanded a 'proper tribute' for the actor on Bigg Boss 15, saying that he deserves it.

Ranveer Singh is on the stage to talk about his show The Big Picture. As the actor enters with a chair in his hand, Salman Khan said in a lighter vein,  “Inki pata nahi kya aadat hai, har jagah ghus jaate hain." This left Ranveer in splits.
