Music composer Amaal Mallik is currently participating in Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19. On the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Amaal was in for some serious feedback from the show’s host. Salman Khan pulled up Amaal for his poor performance and for using abusive language on the show. Amaal received this feedback from Salman Khan on Saturday night. Coincidentally, Amaal’s brother, Armaan, shared his views about the game on the same morning.
During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on X, a fan told Armaan, “Sometimes I feel so bad seeing all this negativity around Amaal since the day he stepped into the Bigg Boss house. People simply don’t know him and the kind of person he is; they are misunderstanding him for no reason. I hope people get to see who the real Amaal is.” In response, Armaan wrote, “The show is such. Why do you think I was not for it? But that’s okay if there’s anyone who can handle toxicity like a boss, it’s him.”
Armaan also went on to reveal that he is feeling ‘messed up’ without having Amaal around. When another fan commented on how Amaal has been targeted on Reddit, Armaan said, “At some point, we are all targeted; that does not matter. We should just keep moving forward.”
The same night when Salman Khan met with contestants on Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar, the host reprimanded Amaal for breaking rules in the house. He pulled up Amaal for sleeping too much and not contributing to the game. Salman Khan said, “Amaal, what is your responsibility towards the show? Firstly, you never asked me before coming to the show. I had no idea. I was shocked to see you here. And now that you have come, are you here to sleep? Is the bed at your house uncomfortable? What are you here to do?”
“You said at the launch that you want to show everyone who the real Amaal is. What are you waiting for? In the first week, you raised expectations by doing great, and everyone thought you would rule the house. In the second week, you just comment and get out of a situation. You keep sleeping through all that happened. A person who could be at the front of the line is appearing as a background artist. To make matters worse for you, it’s shocking to see what other contestants keep talking about you. Everyone thinks you have the potential to lead the house, but you have not given any content this week,” Salman Khan further added.
Amaal Mallik had shared in an interview ahead of entering the Bigg Boss 19 house, that he has been highly misunderstood by people, and he wants to change his public image through the show.
