Actor Robo Shankar’s speech about Hansika Motwani at the trailer launch of her upcoming film Partner was called out for being crass and vulgar. Shankar, who played a role in the film, shared his shooting experience with the actress. He said that he was not allowed to touch Hansika during a scene though he requested her. He also made some crass remarks while describing her. The comedy actor added that the actress allowed the film’s star Aadhi to touch her, calling it the ‘privilege’ of being a hero.

One of the reporters at the event publicly called out Robo Shankar’s speech as vulgar. He said that Robo Shankar crossed a line by making such statements which spoilt the decorum of the public gathering. He said, “People who don’t know public decency are unfit for acting. Please don’t let them get on the stage. He crossed a line with that speech. We complain about people badmouthing actresses on social media. These kinds of people (Robo Shankar) are the ones who pave the way for such bad comments.”

Robo Shankar couldn’t respond to it as he had left the event ahead of the outrage. Actor John Vijay, who was on stage, took the mic and apologized on behalf of Robo Shankar and the entire team. Robo Shankar’s speech is also being criticised on social media and YouTube.

Shankar shot to fame after participating in an old reality show named Kalakka Povathu Yaaru. He later turned an actor and was part of films like Maari and Velainu Vandhuta Vellakaaran. The actor recently recovered from jaundice after being in a critical condition for months.

Meanwhile, Hansika Motwani, who was last seen in the film Maha, is part of about six upcoming projects including Rowdy Baby, Guardian, and 105 Minutes.
