Lyca Productions has unveiled two more cast members of Thalaivar 170. Actors Ritika Singh, who shot to fame with her debut film Irudhi Suttru, and Dushara Vijayan of Natchathiram Nagargirathu fame, and Malayalam star Manju Warrier are the three new additions to the squad of Thalaivar 170, starring Rajinikanth and directed by TJ Gnanavel.

Ritika took to Instagram to share an emotional note about the recent development. She wrote, “Damn! I’m not even able to see through my tears right now. An opportunity to share the screen with Rajni Sir and the entire stellar cast and crew of #Thalaivar170 is straight out of my dreams and I’m immensely grateful for this opportunity! What a moment!!!! To all of you, who stood by me and believed in me since my debut, I just wanna say thank you so so much! Your belief in me has always inspired me to keep putting in the work, no matter how challenging the journey gets. A big thank you to my fan clubs for always having my back :’) So happy to finally share this news with you all. It’s time to celebrate.”

On the other hand, Dushara shared Lyca’s announcement on Twitter, and wrote, “Feeling blessed.”

On Sunday, Lyca Productions left fans disappointed as there were no new announcements about the squad, as promised by the production house. Instead, Lyca only confirmed that Anirudh Ravichander and TJ Gnanavel are part of Thalaivar 170. However, it looks like they are making up for all of it with back-to-back announcements today.
