DhanushDhanush's next announced.

Actor-filmmaker Dhanush seems to be a man in a hurry. There were seven years between his debut directorial Pa Paandi, and Raayan, his second directorial. And within seven months of Raayan’s release, his next, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, is ready to hit the screens. On the acting front, he has a stellar lineup of films, and in between all this, he has signed his next with debutant producer Aakash Baskaran under his banner, Dawn Pictures.

Announcing the project, Aakash shared a statement that read, “Dawn Pictures is excited to announce our first prestigious project, which marks a significant milestone for the production house. We’re committed to producing heartfelt and innovative content that resonates with audiences worldwide. We proudly announce our debut project “D 52” starring ‘Nadippin Asuran’ Dhanush sir. We sincerely thank Dhanush sir for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with him on this exciting new journey.”

While the makers haven’t revealed any details about the cast or crew, it is speculated that this project could be the fourth directorial venture of Dhanush. These speculations got stronger when National Award winner Nithya Menen revealed in a recent interview that she was working with Dhanush in a rural film, which would mark her first such role in Tamil cinema. Other names said to be part of the project include Arun Vijay, Ashok Selvan, Sathyaraj, and Dhanush’s Pa Pandi hero, Rajkiran.
