Director Soundarya R Ashwin has announced that the first teaser of her father and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming period film Kochadaiyaan will be unveiled on September 9.
Kochadaiyaan also stars Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone alongside R Sarathkumar,Aadhi,Shobana,Rukmini Vijayakumar,Jackie Shroff and Nassar.
The film will mark Soundarya’s debut as a director.
“Excited to announce Kochadaiyaan teaser will release this September 9,” Soundarya posted on Twitter.
The film’s music has been composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman.
Kochadaiyaan will be dubbed and simultaneously released in Telugu (as “Vikrama Simha”),Malayalam and English.
The film is expected to hit theatres this November.
