Raanjhanaa star Dhanush is all set for the grand release of his Tamil film Mariyaan this Friday. Dhanush today tweeted expressing how proud he is to be a part of the film Mariyaan.
This will be Dhanush’s first release after making his big Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa.
He also tweeted a still from the film:
Mariyaan is a romantic drama inspired by true events. It is about human survival,and Dhanush plays the title character. He appears as a fisherman for the first time. Parvathy Menon,who was last seen in Chennayil Oru Naal,plays the female lead.
Mariyaan‘s trailer was released on May 1 and created a buzz.
The songs composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman are a big hit already.
