The app’s many features that allow the users to make creative, funny and interesting videos to share on social media are just irresistible for millions of people around the world. In India, too, the app has swelled unprecedentedly and has gained a lot of followers. One of the most-used features on the app appears to be the ability to lip-sync to popular songs.
Here are the Top 10 songs that trended on TikTok during the recent festival season. Surprisingly, six of these songs are by independent artists.
1. Happy Diwali
The song that wishes a Happy Diwali was on the top of the list. It was used over 2 million times by TikTok users in their videos.
2. Ik Mulaqaat
The popular love ballad from Dream Girl was the runner up, with over 1.5 million times use.
3. 8 Parche
Baani Sandhu’s Punjabi chartbuster “8 Parche” was used over 1.3 million times.
4. Pachtaoge
The Arijit Singh song from the album Jaani Ve features Vicky Kaushal and Nora Fatehi. It was used over 1 million times.
5. Lehanga
Jass Manak’s hit song “Lehanga” was on the fifth spot, and was used over 0.5 million times.
6. Bijli ki Taar
Tony Kakkar sung number was used over 0.5 million times.
7. Dil Mera Blast
Darshan Raval’s romantic party number was used over 0.4 million times.
8. Wah Wai Wahh
The Punjabi single “Wah Wai Wahh” by Sukh-E Muzical Doctorz and Neha Kakkar was used by TikTok users over 0.4 million times.
9. Teri Ban Jaungi (Reprise)
Sung by Tulsi Kumar for Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh, the song was used more than 0.3 million times.
10. O Saki Saki
This remake by Tulsi Kumar, Neha Kakkar and B Praak for the movie Batla House was used over 0.3 million times.
