Jin, the oldest member of BTS, is almost nearing the end of his military service in Korea. Jin’s upcoming return brings anticipation among fans, especially following the enlistments of the rest of the band.

The singer took to his Weverse handle and wrote, “D-100.” As reported by My K-Pop Shows, Jin is expected to complete his service on June 12, 2024.

Jin began his 18-month military service at a boot camp near the tense North Korean border. He trained there for five weeks with other soldiers before being assigned to an army unit.

All seven members of the group have started their mandatory military service. RM and V began their service in December 2023, with Jimin and Jungkook joining later. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, RM, V, and Jungkook are expected to come together again in 2025.

Kim Taehyung pens emotional note

BTS member V recently treated fans to a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram. Along with the throwback video, V also shared an emotional message for his fans.

V took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “ARMYs you haven’t forgotten about me right? I’m still breathing okay? Please think about us every once in a while okay?” Replying to a fan on Weverse who said that she thinks about him,  V said, “Then it’s a relief to hear that. I thought I was just the only one who’s one-sided.”

In other news, BigHit Music has just confirmed that V will be releasing a new digital single titled FRI(END)S. This upcoming track, scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, is touted to be a romantic song.
